Hello! I am Dr. Karambir Khalsa and I am a licensed psychologist in Arizona. I'd like to welcome you to my practice.
I use a variety of techniques when working with clients, but I do not use everything I know in every session with every client. Therapy is unique to each individual and the most important technique I use is taking time to get to know you and your concerns and why they are concerns for you when they might not be for someone else.

My goal is to help you resolve the issues that bring you to therapy and also to help you develop some skills along the way. These skills become your takeaways from therapy so that years from now after we are no longer doing therapy together perhaps you encounter similar circumstances and think "This reminds me of that thing Dr. Khalsa helped me with and I think I can get through this on my own this time." In clinical terms, this is called self-efficacy (i.e., the feeling that one can master life's challenges on one's own). In plain English it is the feeling of "I got this!"
